Koi Types
Kikusui
Kikusui are a scaless version of a Hariwake. Look for
one with a nice Kohaku pattern
that has nice sharp edges and very white skin.
A Kikusui's pattern is judged the same way
as a Kohaku's is.
How do you get a Kikusui?
Kikusuis are bred by combining a Kohaku with a Platinumo Ogon. When you
breed these two Koi, you
end up with a Hariwake. You then take the Hariwake and breed it with a mirror carp or
scaless
carp, then you'll end up with a Kikusui.
