Doitsu Hariwake
Doitsu Hariwake are like a Kikusui, but they have a metallic
yellow pattern instead of
a metallic red one. Look for one with a nice
Kohaku pattern and snow white skin. Doitsu
Hariwake are an interesting
variety. They are yellow and white. This color combination is rare.

The yellow of a Doitsu
Hariwake gets deeper, like a Yamabuki Ogon, when it
is exposed to more sunlight.
If you have one in a tank in your basement and your Doitsu Hariwake loses
some
of its yellow, don't worry, for it will come back in the summer.
